Swift Beyond Measure

A High-Performance Post-Quantum Layer 1 Blockchain

Post-Quantum Ready (SEVS Integration Planned)
Protocol v1.4.0 • December 2025

Abstract

Celereum is a next-generation Layer 1 blockchain protocol designed to address the fundamental scalability trilemma while achieving post-quantum security. By combining Proof of History (PoH) with Tower Byzantine Fault Tolerant (Tower BFT) consensus and our novel SEVS (Seed-Expanded Verkle Signatures) post-quantum scheme, Celereum targets 50,000 TPS with 400ms block times and 200ms finality—making it the fastest post-quantum blockchain. SEVS achieves 128-byte signatures, 18.9x smaller than Dilithium.

Post-Quantum Security Without Compromise

Post-quantum cryptography inherently requires more computation than classical signatures. While other PQ blockchains using Dilithium achieve only ~500 TPS due to 2,420-byte signatures and slow verification, Celereum's SEVS (128 bytes) enables 50,000 TPS.

Our commitment: Maintain quantum-era security while preserving high performance and keeping hardware requirements minimal (4-core CPU, 16GB RAM). We continuously optimize SEVS to ensure practical performance for real-world applications.

Progressive scaling from Lite Mode to Full Mode. See Whitepaper for details.
